WOW! I recently started playing Dark Tomorrow again recently and although I noticed that the graphics are dated and the controls and camera are pretty bad, I think the concept is pretty good. I was thinking that as much as I am looking forward to the LEGO Batman game, I would love to see someone take another crack at a "comic" style Batman game with a Metal Gear/Splinter Cell type engine.
This is great news! Hopefully the graphics, game play, controls and camera all play really well. Batman Begins looked really good throughout all the previews and the game just kinda turned out weak. Can't wait.

This came out of no where,i can't wait to hear more news from it.Finally a new Batman game based on the comics.Hope Conroy gets the voice of the character and i hope they do give it to him i mean it would would be foolish to distance Conroy from this oppertunity .

it actually hasnt been said what setting the game will take place in. they havent officially announced this as comic based yet.

So far from reading up on this game i have heard that its set entirely in Arkham Asylum,Dini has left the voice casting open ended with this "This should be the Ultimate Batman experience,so the voice actors should be in line with that",so i might get my wish of Conroy yet.Developers have stated that it is a comic book game,its not based on the movies or the animated series's.The Story line of the game is that scientific experimentation has been going on at Arkham Asylum and that one drug that the comic readers will know very well from reading the batman comics is used,Joker is trying to make this Drug himself with the help of other Con's.

Sounds pretty awesome. Just from early rumors and the creative team behind this project this could be the ultimate Batman game that we have all be craving...
I hope it's not entirely set in Arham Asylum though, it would be pretty cool to drive around Gotham in the Batmobile.
With talk of voice actors, It would be great to have Kevin Conroy. But what if they decide to go in a different direction. What other voice actors could they get? An Unknown? Diedrick Badger (The Brave & The Bold Batman) Rino Romano?

If Dini is behind this then,Conroy above the other names you mentioned.Yeah,its entirely set in Arkham,but it's meant to be huge.

Dini is just writing the script. he has no control over who voices the characters, Eidos will be hiring the voice actors and deciding who gets to voice whom. which means that we may unfortunately be getting Christian Bale's voice or someone who has never done any Batman work. it's whatever direction Eidos wants to take with it and how much they want to spend and if certain actors want to do it and what not. they could just as easily stay in house and have the guy who voiced Agent 47 in the Hitman games do the voice. we'll have to wait and see. |

Croc after his last mutation is 7'5", Batman is 6'2". it seems about right, especially since the camera is zoomed on Croc in that pic. height wise, Croc is larger than some incarnations of the Hulk. |

Do you just bust my posts for the fun of it or what lol? its not on purpose, lol. i'm fanatical when it comes to Batman, so i know alot of info about the characters and i have this weird thing where i have to correct false statements. it's not just you, basically anyone who stated something inaccurate in regard to the comics, i've corrected it. Croc does look insanely big in that pic, but i think its because he's standing on something and its super zoomed on him. but he is supposed to be big. |

WoW!!! Thanks for posting those pictures and if the gameplay can hold up to the look of what we are seeing right now, then holy crap this is going to be one sick game. They can take all the time they need to get it right.
I wonder if they are using Arham Asylum as the base for a reason. Meaning I wonder if they are planning on this game being a huge hit and following up with a series like this with Batman. They could do:
Batman: Gotham City
Batman: Black Gate Prison

Yeah,just like looking in to a cell and seeing Hush sitting on his bed or something.That would show that the developers are all about pleasing the fans,and maybe a reference to some of the Justice League characters and that would make the game.

SuperPa, i swear i'm not doing this on purpose, but Hush has never been in Arkham before. but i do agree with you that a JL reference would be cool, like having Jean Loring's cell in the game would be a nice touch. |

I never said that he was either lol but since the game is set in Arkham Asylum they could maybe just fit him in there,even though i have read all the books that Hush has appeared in,i know he never went to jail but for the sake of the game i hope they put him in there.............oh never mind.

The Covers do look amazing, and Batman looks really cool in the game. And Killer Croc Holy $*** that is Sick, I can't wait to see a demo of him moving around and fighting, or just standing next to him, that is going to be pretty scary

This will most likely be a good game. Though the over grittyness is abit too much Burton for my taste. aha love the giant Croc but dont think we shall see Hush in Arkham.

This game looks fantastic! So glad this great news came right on the heels of the Dark Knight game fiasco. Keeping my fingers crossed that this will be the game we are all hoping for.
