Why wouldn't they be able to ... Lately, The Batman and DCSH figures have been extremely hard to find. Yes. Damn near impossible, however, with the movie, Ill guarantee Batman will have major placement in the stores. We shouldnt have a hard time finding the new stuff then.

I like that Batman and may pick it up if its ever found, but that will be the only one from this wave.

meh. Its just the bubble without the card top. It doesnt look like it has a peg holder, wonder if this is made to sit on a shelf rather than be hung.
I miss the old days when we had actual packaging with original art on it.

The Catwoman and Clayface are the only 2 I want from this line. Already have a Batman. Already have a Nightwing. Already have a Joker. Already have a Bruce.
What was new from this line again? Oh yeh, 2 figures.

Well thats good to hear.
For you. lol
I just got back from both TRUs and Target and both stores have also restocked.
With the Superman assortment.
I've really grown tired of collecting figures because of this. The friggin' pegs sit empty for weeks and then when they are filled its with assortments that have been out in other parts of the country for 3 - 4 months. Ive gotten to the point where I dont care whos fault it is anymore, the retailers or Mattel, this stinks. All its doing, imo, is ruining the fan base for Batman collecting.

Its a nice figure, but, I dont see much difference between it and the other ones that have been released recently. Everything seems to be a clone of the previous style. Nothing that makes me go "wow, I want that one for my collection". Definitely not worth the $15 price tag.

Batman toys have been pretty sparce in the retail aisles for sometime now. Is Mattel working on fixing this problem with retailers? Is there plans for a line that would include versions of the past films?

Well, according to the most recent interview with Mattel by Figures.com, there may be an answer to those (including myself) about possible past movie figures.
Now, that could mean "old" characters from the Begins line, like Scarecrow and Ra's, or it could mean "old" characters from the previous franchise. Hopefully we here at LoG can get a more decisive answer.

I would also like to know if there are any plans to do a movie based line on the previous films, or just to incorporate them into the exisitng DCSH line. Customs for these movies burn up the aftermarket, itd be cool to see some nice licensed stuff.

Batman looks unproportioned. Nothing special here, just another blue/grey Batman. How many have DCD put out now? Mattel feel the need to do one of their own? Penguin looks like crap. The other figs in the line look okay.
They have the entire DC license and they give us whats already been released.

I have them all and have to tell you, they are awesome. I eagerly await Poison Ivy. They are working on Superman and Batman and, rumor has it, a JOKER too! Cool. Perhaps you can take some pics of these, so that we can see them "for real"?

Those look nice, but again,$125? When did these toy items start to get so darn expensive? I can only see "hard core" collectors dropping coin on a set of these, or even a couple.

Nothing we havenr already seen. Im just not into the battle figures. 12" Cyborg Superman is an odd choice. Youd think Mattel would do something a little more recognizable. It would have been cool to something that no one expected.

Cool Pics. Although I already have Bat-Signal Batman and I don't need another of that Robin I really want this set. Matt, Does Batman have aball-jointed neck like the original Bat-Signal Batman? No ball joint necks on these.

Batmans right hand is opened. There is a batarang attached to it by rubber band. The cape is big, you can tell by looking into the box. His left hand has the "trigget finger" pose that we've seen before, and the cape is attached to the wrist by string.

I just got off work and have to be back at 5 a.m, so Im really tired and cant go into a big post. Ive been lokoing at the released pics. ugh. Im a movie toy guy too. I think Im just gonna stick to the basic figs on this, which will probably only be a couple. Im just not feeling these designs enough for me to spend my oney on the toy incarnations.

The Man-Bat sculpt looks alot like the Legends of the Dark Knight figure, which is cool, I really like it. Not too keen on the white 'The Batman" paint scheme tho. I think Ill also wait for a brown version. Really would like to see the Freeze.

IF I can find them at retail Ill pick them all up except for Bane. I dont do repaints. The Batman will be an exception. Im not too hot about the Two Face, and the hands look huge, but Ill get it, because, well, it's Two Face.

A BIG part of the problem is the retailers themselves. I understand your frustration, but it cant all be put onto Mattel. The ordering and stocking is up to the retailers, and as it has been said, their procedures for stocking new items is very poor.
I live in NE Ohio, and the Superman wave with Mongul is just NOW becoming abundant. I was at TRUs Sunday and found 2 cases worth on the pegs. There were at least 2 of every figure, including Mongul and Supergirl. I know the one guy who wroks there and made a comment to him about how they finally got them in. He told me, yet again, they have had the cases in the back but wouldnt put them out until the old Supes and leftover Scarecrows were gone. There are still 3 Scarecrows on the pegs!. Another problem with this whole issue is the internet. Collectors can easily click a button and get their new wave of figs instantly, which puts a stop to the retail buying. That slows down the shelf movement on new toys. Retailers know this, which is why they dont order as much as they did years ago. See, there is alot of factors that affect this hobby of ours, its not just one person or group.

One of our Mattel contacts has let us know that late June is the estimated shipping date for this wave! not soon enough. Matt, you must tell them we need them now.
