Now it seems alot more of you are experiencing what Ive been dealing with for years now. EXP figs just popped up on my local Target shelves alongside the new stuff. TRUs also has EXP items. This is like that all the time in NE Ohio. I have also been told by workers at both TRUS and Target as well as WalMart (because I know someone who is a dept. mgr) that they do not stock on regular basis and old stock does sit in the back. Then all of a sudden they will start to force everything out and because their backroom inventory shows to be low, thats when they'll get one or two cases of the new stuff. The reason they dont get anymore is because it shows that the history of movement has been slow. I have all but stopped going toy hunting because of this, its just a waste of time and gas.

nice acquisitions PJ. I really hope the Batmobile becomes easier to find. That Steel looks really good.

I really want the Batmobile-bot, I love that.
3 things come to mind when looking at that Batjet. X-MEN Jet, a Klingon ship, and the old Captain Power ship. Still looks cool tho.

I just saw these (minus the villains of course) at a small store in PA. Neon colors, wierd armor. I dont like the color scheme of the Joker, but since I never found the original release I guess I'll have to settle for the repaint. If I can even find that one.

well, at least I may be able to get a Gearhead at retail now. As far as the other stuff they showed, blah. Why do another Bane? Why not get it right the first time? Im only collecting the basics from this line, but I would have liked to see something more from Mattel, so far everything theyve shown from the existing Batman lines have been very disappointing to me.

these look cool and all, but Ill have to wait and see them in person and also see the pricing on them before I make any decisions.

sounds cool. The Horseman really want to do characters from the Batman universe, I just dont understand why we're not getting more of a variety and more quickly, AND in more abundance in case allocation. I really would like to see Riddler and Penguin and maybe even Ivy.

wow..even though they showcased a beatiful clayface and manbat...this toyfair has to be one big let down. Only 5 jlus were shown, no losh till 08, and only 2 new scplts for dcsh. Toyfair isnt the same as it use to be. I blame the toy company itself. There is alot they could do with the license, but they dont. I would love to see a new Batmobile or vehicle of some sort, even a Joker car or something. How about a playset? A Batcave. My personal opinion is that Mattel just isnt a good toy company, and Im not only referring to the DC license, I mean all across the board with all their properties. I mean, how the heck can you let Barbie be knocked off the number one spot for cryin' out loud? Yeh, I like the Clayface and Manbat, but what else is there? And Im sorry, but history has shown that kids do not want all those repainted variants. The shelves get clogged with them. So the stores dont re order because the shelves are still full, so Mattels distribution goes down. Dont they see this?

Now that Clayface is nice. I just hope that it gets released soon and isnt like trying to find the Holy Grail on the shelves.

yeh, Man Bat is cool, but I still like the LODK one better, however if Im able to actually find this one Ill pick it up. I like the repainted Bizarro, but c'mon, stop the repaints for cryin' out loud.

sounds like they really want to make this a flagship brand. Could it possibly be that they are unable to distribute their resources to other lines, thats why we arent seeing as many new offerings from the older exisiting lines? Just a thought, I just think its funny that one of the coolest things coming from Mattel is a preschool line when it comes to the DC heroes.

All this speratic wave findings and lack of merchandise raises the question, whos to blame? Mattel or the stores?

I know my WalMart had a wave of Superman, black emblem Superman, and normal Bizzaro's in it (Wave 4.5?) and then got Wave 6 just recently. I've never seen Wave 5 in any of it's forms yet. Card backs don't really help out here either like they did when the line was first started. Any help? this is what my stores have as well. why is it different areas are getting different waves?

Oooh. Removeable clothing they say. ;Dlol
As long as the Batman design isnt based on Jim Lees art, Im always up for another large scale fig. His style has run its course, lets move on.

That Scarecrow bi-plane is really cool. I think some of these Lego sets are neat, but I havent bought one of them. I think the price for what they are is way too high.
