I just saw G.I.Joe: The Rise of Kobra and it was really good. I don't know too much about G.I. Joe but I was able to figure out who Duke, Hawk, Scarlet, Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Baroness are. But I never understood which Joes the black guy with the Brittish accent and the brown guy with the French accent were. Does anybody know? Heavy Duty and Breaker respectively.

Well, the Action League stuff seems to be out in force. I have found everything from the first wave. I must say though, I was bit disappointed in the Transforming Batmobiel. Didnt care for the look of the Batplane conversion at all. I think its because of all the red. It should have been all black, throws the whole look off, imo. The Batmobiler mode is nice looking, but I hate that it is still only a one seater vehicle and Im not a fan of the missiles being on the top like that. I think Im going to skip this and just get the TRUs exclusive Batmbile for half the price.
Also found the HW Superfirends Batmobile. Aside for the 2 '89 behicles, this is the one I was most excited about. Again, another disappointment. The way they have it packaged is backwards. Its tilted so that youre loking at the bottom of the car! Youre not seeing the top of the vehicle. Very poor execution on that. Also, the color is off, imo. Its not a lighter blue color as seen on the package, but rather a darker, metallic hue. The design is also something that is left to be desired. It just didnt say "Superfriends" to me. An overall disapointment, so I passed on this as well.
Im finding it easier and easier to pass on alot of the Batman merchandise lately.

nearly 2 years after TDK we will get our two face sigh ..and for only $30! Lucky us. You know, I miss the days when toys were geared towards kids. I know I'll be in the minority here, but things are just out of hand now. I think specialty toys should've been left to DC Direct. At least then they were only $15. Im with you on that. I think thats why Im enjoying the BATB line so much.

The Gentleman Ghost set is in the same assortment as the the Batsub. Yeah. That I already bought. That set was one of the main things I was waiting for from this line. Love Gentleman Ghost, and I think its cool we're getting so many versions of him this year.

While browsing around at Target I noticed they redid their toy aisles. Brave and the Bold has approximately 4 feet of the aisle dedicated to it and they had all the tags hanging. The Transforming Batmobile is priced at 39.99, the deluxe vehicle sets are priced at 21.99 and the Action League Batmobile set was stickered at 19.99. Cant wait until they stock this stuff up. TRUs still only had the Batsub pack and the 2 packs.

Poeple know me. Im a collector. I love collecting Batman. Aside from the Brave and the Bold stuff and the new DCU Joker, I see nothing here that excites me. Even with the BATB stuff, we're still waiting on whats already been shown at TF!! So its a bit hard to get too wrapped up in these presentations knowing Mattels history. I never thought there would be a time where collecting Batman would be so.......boring.

The BATB mini super heroes figures are out! I found the whole first wave, minus the Batmobile, at TRUs tonight. The vehicle packs, which come in very nice window display boxes, retail for 12.99. The 2 pack figs are 7.99. I grabbed the boxed Batman and Gentleman Ghost w/ horse. GH glows in the dark! The Batsub pack is phenominal! Ill be going back to grab that one for sure!

DCD, I see nothing of interest for me. JLU, I dont collect, and besides, my local Target doesnt stock them!! Movie Masters, blah, Im so done with this line anyway and all it is is what we were shown half a year ago. The only thing Im excited about is the Brave and the Bold stuff. Solomon Grundy looks fantastic! But Mattel, please, get this stuff out! Im sick and tired of seeing preiews of what we "may" get. Im tired of looking at wave 1 of BATB!!! I really like that DCU Joker, but again, as Wal Mart doesnt carry them in my area, Ill have to rely on a friend or the internet.

Dreamer is a legend in his own way. Is there a reason I can't think that? No, not at all. If you have the personal feeling that any wrestler is a legend, then thats your right. I think thats the basic thought jlavia was trying to get across. Your opinion is your opinion. Thats why I used "to me" and "personally" in my post. I also think that what jlavia is trying to get across is that within the world of professional wrestling, Dreamer is not considered a legend, and I have to agree.
On another note, jlavia, do you follow any of the small independant wrestling promotions? Like Cleveland All Pro Wrestling?

There are many factors that can make a wrestler a "legend" in the business. Unfortunately, I personally don't see Dreamer or Duggan meeting any of those factors. Just because a performer has been in the wrestling business for many years does not make them a "legend". To me, calling those 2 legends is like calling The Brooklyn Brawler a legend.

Really would like to avoid ebay on these, just looking to get rid of them. $25 shipped for the set in the connected US. Still has the price stickers on them. Originally retailed for 5.99 each.

Well, I found my second piece of non toy related BATB merchandise. It was an inflatable pool raft that had the logo and Batman on it. It was only 4.99 but I dont collect that type of stuff anymore.

Hm. Not counting the various TV spots he's had playing basicaly the full of himself egomaniac who usually gets knocked down a peg or two, he's done:
Van Wilder Hannibal King (Blade 3) School of Life Waiting Smokin' Aces Adventurland Deadpool (Wolverine)
Plus the couple little cameos he's done for films, where he plays the same type of character. Smartass, egotistical, arrogant, "hey look, Im the popular guy" type of character. Theres only a couple of films that I can think of where he hasnt played this type, Amityville, Definitely, Maybe, and Proposal. Id say Just Friends, but even in there he has traits of his pigeonholed style.
I see Reynolds playing The Flash, just not GL. He's too immature in his acting style for me to be portraying Hal Jordan.

Im not a fan of Reynolds. I hope he does some serious research on Hal Jordan, cuz he sure as heck isnt a smart mouthed jerk, which is what Reynolds always seems to play.

::Topic moved::While this isn't really a Bat-Toy I thought this might be a good spot for it. If not, please move it accordingly. I saw this today in my local paper and thought I'd share it with you...while I wouldn't get this for myself...any thoughts?
