[glow=red,2,300]what because of the producer,(I still thiink Peter's is stupid) still s it was down to the director as well, just like Singer recalls having to talk a with WB about Peters and made him see his film, which Peters liked, listen the the Kevin smith about superman on youtube and you can see what side WB was on. Did anyone hear of the James Cameron spidey flick and script, Cameron was going to havea radioactive fly which was then eaten by a spider and then bite peter, lol that would of been really funny hehe[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300] Yeah it was good, although WB dident tamper with it at all , so Im not sure what your point is there, I love edgar rights work, shaun of the dead was a master piece, so it should be alright, although I just cant say I have confidence for a Avengers film I dunno I just think about all the goofy characters for a film like thor and the wasp, we'll have to see , [/glow] [glow=red,2,300] Sometimes studio tampering can be good.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]If people under 20 wont know who the teen titans are(this would be more succesful then young avengers) I hate to think how many people know Namor, some drastic stuff is going to be needed to make him intrseting, but hay DC are taking care with thier properties not just giving them to anyone(marvel) but I really dont mind anymore, we'll let time see.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]man , but still marvel are makinga thor and submariner film, that is terrible, lol DC movies have always had better success, even if they were bad, and superman having a kid ,well the source material is hard to translate , so maybe thinking with your head might provide anwsers for yourself, I dont see Thor being a superhero film even if this terrible idea is mad, I see them doing a norse god battle or something, lol such a good day lol Namor, hah
Oh and before I forget , last I heard SR was given very good reviews, where as x3 one of marvels top film franchise and they wrecked it beyond beilief,[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Again, Warner Bros arent going to start anew franchise when they already have a few to finish, also thor lol THOR plus the hulk once announced quickly after months of secret negotitions, and was announced quick so people wouldent moan thinking about the last hulk film, last hulk film lol avengers film , the justice league would do much better, plus many of the avengers seem very corny, e.g thor, ant-man - wasp and all these characters make me feel alittle silly when thinking about their film oncarnations, plus both these films wont hit for years yet and are only planned so far(might not happen if delayed) lets just hope marvel can add a few decent films to the super hero genre for once, and not givve the genre a bad name due to bad films.[/glow]

This has the potential to be a great franchise in it's own right but to me it justs smells like desperation for DC, Teen titans and shazam in the works and not even one word on some possible DC all stars (Green lantern,Flash, etc) What are they thinking? I would love to see this movie get made but DC is giving me no reason to look forward to any of their upcoming flix cuz some of them are probably never going to happen. [glow=red,2,300] I have confidence in Dc, why do warner bros need to make a new franchise when they are making millions of the harry potter, when they have settled down, WB will start to make them, and dc have had far more better written movies than marvel, the last film I looked foward to from marvel was x-men 2, but still cant wait for films like THOR and LUKE CAGE yeah right Im joking i mewan THOR LOL man that gave me a few laughs this afternoon[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]I like both as I'm a now a huge fan of DC, marvel( no thanks I'll pass except with a bit of spidey on the side. With out Superman there wouldn't be any super hero's., Stan the man lee even said that he is indebted to Supes as he wouldn't be inspired to do heroes, plus the media he is in is great 2 70's movies that out-grossed the new x-men films now thats amazing. Superman returns is up there with Begins and S3 on my best superhero movie's. Plus the Timm show is fantastic watching them all lately really made me enjoy and appreciate the character so much so that I'm a starting fan on the character.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300] funny really how the 70's superman film grossed more money than x-men 1 2 3 put together, especially when you are only really talking about 2 bad films(with sr still being given 4 out of 5 stars) compared to Marvel's lot with only spider-man and the first two x-men being any good, at least when Dc do make some the majority of them are big hits , compared to electra, hulk, daredevil,x-men 3 and so on,
batman and robin still making more than the hulk, lol but lets never mention that film again, lol ;D[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Would be very cool, (possibly) shows a diffretn kind of superhero movie, instead of the step by step marvel film making guide 1)introduction 2)gets turned into a superhero 3)finds enemy 4)enemy does something to character connected to hero 5)showdown
lol ;D[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Totally agree there, The krypton origin is way better than the from an other planet origin, it gives a villain that can connect to superman like we havent seen before, plus if they gave the animated brainiac and modified movie look that would look cool[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300] Hmm I dunno I would only like to see one of those villains in the next, Bizarro gives the film a massive fight, I would like to see him as he looks in the comics and cartoons, white face purplish, blue costume like they did him in the Superman Returns game, that would work.[/glow] [glow=red,2,300] For Braniac I dont know there's been alot of looks, like the first picture of him on Wikipedia(at the top) But it would be cool to see him put his brain in a massive robot look brainiac 13 and then have a massive battle. Both Characters have the potential to be great. [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]STRAIGHT FROM IGN ,TONIGHT:[/glow]
Initial reports also claimed that Warners did not want to include Batman in the JLA movie. But a new story claims that the Dark Knight will indeed be part of the film's roster of superheroes.
According to IESB.net's sources, reports of Batman's exclusion from the film are untrue and that Warners intends on utilizing their other most famous comic book hero besides Superman for what could be a hugely expensive film.
They also point out that Christian Bale said while doing press for Batman Begins that he was signed to a three-picture deal, one of which could be a team-up film of some kind.
Think of JLA as Warners' answer to Fox's X-Men franchise -- the third installment of which out grossed Superman Returns at the 2006 summer box office -- or their Fantastic Four series (the first FF film accomplished something that Batman Begins could not at the time, which was to break the summer '05 box office slump).
Kiernan and Michele Mulroney (the Mr. & Mrs. Smith TV pilot) are writing the JLA script.

[glow=red,2,300]THIS STRAIGHT FROM IGN,[/glow] US, March 21, 2007 - Rumor spread this week that Warner Bros. was considering shelving the Bryan Singer-directed sequel to Superman Returns in favor of putting the Man of Steel in the studio's recently announced Justice of League of America movie.
Now Variety reports that development on the sequel is continuing but that Singer will direct a World War II thriller with Tom Cruise first. In their initial March 19th report, Variety took the Internet to task for spreading the Superman rumor, yet the trade paper neglected to address the JLA rumor.
"Assertion would be on a par with saying Sony or Paramount would put their respective Spider-Man and Indiana Jones properties into turnaround," according to the report.
That's not quite true. Variety itself began the Superman sequel doom and gloom last summer when it reported that the sequel was not a sure thing considering Superman Returns' lukewarm domestic box office.
It is also interesting that they mention Indiana Jones since Variety recently reported that Shia LaBeouf is going to play Indy's son in the fourth installment, a claim that the actor has repeatedly denied since it was reported.
In other Superman sequel news, SupermanHomepage.com claims to know who the bad guys will be. "The script has not yet been written, but discussions are being bounced around in regards to the major villains being Metallo and Brainiac."
They add, "Apparently the 'Bank Gunner' from Superman Returns (the guy who shot Superman in the eye) will be the man who becomes/gets turned in to Metallo. It's unknown if he'll be referred to as John Corben or not." [glow=red,2,300] Thank god as much as I love the JLA idea, I love the superman film franchise(1-2 and returns) just as much, they are always great, plus supes deserves to be in his own films series, plus with this film having loats of ation it should be good.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300] I'm looking forward to it , very interested how they are going to pull it off , and also slightly worried , but saying that Dc know what they are doing , most of the Dc films are a good quality which can be said for a a quarter of the Marvel one's. They may do a non-canon Batman they may use Nolan type bats, but the film is going to be so expensive all those heroes needing screen time, think about the Costs, [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]yeah may be but wont be the defining film of 2007 by a long way,it just wont be lol I mean I Like the spidey films but the angle shots and some of the events have felt childish, like why do we need to see for the 100th time people say ''youre gonna have to go threw me first.'' hopefully this one shoudl be really good. and I refuse to beileve sandman was the real murdered thats like making bruce waynes parents kidnapped by aliens [/glow].
